Cook County tax appeal seminar on Aug. 4

Prospect Heights Mayor Nicholas Helmer and Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri are sponsoring a property tax seminar from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Gary Morava Recreational Center, 110 W. Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights.

The seminar will include information on how to appeal your property tax assessment. Staff from the Cook County assessor's office will be on hand to assist in filling out and submitting your appeal form. Please bring your tax bill or property index number.
