Geneva bank held up

Authorities are looking for a man who held up a Geneva bank Friday afternoon.

According to FBI spokesman Special Agent Garrett H. Croon, the robbery occurred approximately 2:30 p.m. at the First American Bank, 1789 S. Randall Road.

Croon described the suspect as a black male who was wearing nylon stockings over his head, dressed in an orange shirt and displaying a black handgun, standing at 6 feet, 2 inches and weighing 250 pounds.

Authorities did not reveal whether any money was taken.

Croon said the man was alone and ran out of the bank.

He added that there is a possibility he is a suspect in another incident.
