Two-vehicle crash on I-88 sends one person to hospital

All lanes of Interstate 88 near Interstate 355 are reopened after a two-vehicle crash closed all eastbound lanes just after 7 a.m.

The crash involved a silver Acura and a silver Pontiac. One person was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with non-life-threatening injuries, state police said.

The vehicles have been moved to the shoulder, and emergency crews remain on the scene. Crash details are not known at this time.
