Alleghany Road closure

Metra will close Alleghany Road to through traffic from Peterson Road to Route 120, from 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5 until late afternoon Sunday, Aug. 7. The road closure is necessary for Metra to repair the existing railroad crossing. Local traffic will be allowed from Peterson Road to the railroad crossing and from Route 120 to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic. The detour route is Peterson Road, to Route 83, to Route 137, to Route 120.
