District 57 approves new Lincoln Middle School principal

Mount Prospect School District 57 board members Thursday approved Paul Suminski as the new principal of Lincoln Middle School, effective July 25.

Suminski is currently assistant principal at Deer Path Middle School West in Lake Forest District 67, and will replace Jason Kaiz who has taken on another principal position outside of District 57.

Suminski, who grew up in Des Plaines, has been at his current school for five years and has also taught middle school math in Northbrook and Schiller Park school districts.
