Grandwood Park hosts summer concert series

The Grandwood Park Civic Association invites the public to enjoy its music by the lake concert series at Lake Park, with three performances scheduled for August.

Country artist Mandy Z and the Rural Route 1 perform Aug. 7, followed by teenage rockers US on Aug. 14, and the Allman Brother's tribute band Rose Hill Revival on Aug. 21. All concerts will begin at 4 p.m. There is no charge for admission. The part is located at 18445 W. Streamwood Drive.

The main entrance to the park is through the gazebo on Grandwood Drive at Park Drive. There is another entrance from Traer Terrace, where the road curves.
