Fremont Township hosts program on evaluating assessments

How to evaluate your property tax assessment is the topic of a program from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the Fremont Township building, 22385 W. Route 60, Mundelein.

Participants will learn how to evaluate and determine whether to appeal their assessment.

Martin P. Paulson, chief county assessment officer for Lake County, will go over the evaluation process and the tools the county has available for property owners, as well as strategies on how to use them.
