Garden visitors get musical treat from scattered pianos
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Musical arrangements can now be heard alongside the floral arrangements at the San Francisco Botanical Garden.
The "Flower Piano" project invites visitors to listen to - and play - any of a dozen pianos scattered around the gardens during a 12-day run.
On weekend days, garden-goers will also have the chance to listen to music played by pros.
The performances include a wide variety of musical genres - even a sing-along is on the schedule.
"Flower Piano" will run from July 7 until July 18, and visitors can tickle the ivories from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily.
