Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 5 cents a bale higher at $4.3120 a bushel; July corn was 6.50 cents higher at $3.7240 bushel; Sept. oats was .50 cent higher at $2.1040 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 1.50 cents to $11.2940 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was 1.43 cents higher at $1.1288 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.53 cents higher at $1.4080 pound; July lean hogs gained .33 cent to $.8050 a pound.
