Prosecutors drop battery charges against Wheeling man

Prosecutors dropped charges against a Wheeling man who they said broke the leg of his 67-year-old mother.
Eduard Spektor, 35, was originally charged with aggravated battery to a senior and aggravated domestic battery following the Feb. 16, 2016, incident. Prosecutors dropped the charges after the death of the woman from causes unrelated to the incident.
