District 211 board to discuss strategic plan

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211's board of education will hold a pair of meetings to draft the district's new five-year strategic plan from 1 to 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19, at the district's administration building, 1750 S. Roselle Road in Palatine.

The meetings are open to the public and the agendas will include a specific period for public comments to be made.

But for the most part, the meetings are intended as a time for the board members to discuss among themselves the public input that already has been gathered during the first half of 2016 through a series of community engagement meetings, along with telephone and online surveys.
