Pence to share stage during Trump's Indiana campaign rally

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be sharing a campaign stage with Donald Trump as the Republican presidential candidate considers him as a potential vice presidential running mate.

Pence will be among the hosts at a private Trump campaign fundraising event in downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday. The governor is scheduled to later introduce Trump during a rally in the Indianapolis suburb of Westfield.

The billionaire businessman is expected to name his vice presidential pick in the coming days. Trump has appeared recently with other possible running mates, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Pence told reporters Monday that he's prepared to campaign "anywhere across the country that Donald Trump would want me to."
