Grain mostly higher, livestock mostly higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was .40 cent a bale higher at $4.21 a bushel; July corn was 1.50 cents higher at $3.43 bushel; Sept oats was 3.85 cents higher at $2.33 a bushel; while July soybeans lost 19.40 cents to $10.6920 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was 1.55 cents higher at $1.1360 a pound; August feeder cattle was .75 cent higher at $1.4420 pound; July lean hogs lost .90 cent to $.8050 a pound.
