Reward being offered for suspects in slaying of 3
HAZEL CREST, Ill. (AP) - Officials of a Chicago suburb say they are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects in the fatal shooting of a father and his two daughters.
Hazel Crest officials said Thursday they are offering $5,000 for the information. Relatives of the victims say they're seeking donations to make the reward larger.
Thirty-nine-year old Dionus M. Neeley, 10-year-old Elle Neeley and 3-year-old India Neeley were found at a home in Hazel Crest after officers responded to a report of gunshots early Saturday. They were taken to hospitals and died of their injuries.
Hazel Crest Police Chief Mitchell Davis III says investigators have no suspects for the murders.
Investigators are looking into Dionus Neely's background for a possible motive for the killings. Court records show he has a history of drug conviction.
