Oakton hires new leader for continuing education program
Ruben Howard II has been hired as Oakton Community College's director of continuing education and workforce development, effective July 18.
Howard currently is a supply chain management consultant for the Chicago Urban League, and previously was dean of transportation and logistics with Olive-Harvey College in Chicago and a full-time faculty member at Lone Star College in Texas.
He will report to Colette Hands, associate vice president for continuing education, training, and workforce development, who began work in that role last Friday.
Howard will make $93,500 a year.
