Wheaton N. makes this program special

I would like to express my appreciation to Wheaton North High School, the football players, and the coaches who make possible the summer flag football program for Western Dupage Special Recreation athletes.

It is a wonderful program. The Wheaton North coaches and the Wheaton North football players consistently create a positive, encouraging atmosphere in which the WDSRA players learn and thrive.

My son Micah is one of the WDSRA players, and the flag football program is the highlight of his summer. From conversations with other WDSRA family members and spectators, I know that the program is much appreciated, the Wheaton North players are greatly admired for their character and commitment, and the coaches are highly respected for being great role models and mentors.

My thanks to all the coaches, athletes, students, and staff who make Wheaton North such a great high school and such an important asset to the community at large. Go Falcons!
