Fire in Granger apartment building displaces residents

GRANGER, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say no one was injured in a late-night apartment building fire in the northern Indiana community of Granger.

The fire Saturday night heavily damaged several apartment units and displaced residents.

The South Bend Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/29eRI3g ) Mishawaka firefighters, police and emergency units responded to the fire.

Residents of affected apartments on the building's second floor were not allowed into the building Sunday morning.

Granger is located about 8 miles northeast of South Bend.
