Fire decimates Huntley house
No one was injured but a Huntley home was destroyed after an intense fire started outside then spread to the dwelling Friday evening.
The fire began at about 6 p.m. at the rear of a single-family frame house in the 700 block of Parc Court, Huntley Fire Department Lt. Mike Pierce said Saturday.
The building was a "complete loss," and investigators are still determining what caused the blaze.
No other structures on the street were involved and the one occupant of the house was outside when fire crews arrived.
No damage estimates were available.
