No action again on guns

The United States Congress once again did not stop the sales of automatic weapons and oversized magazines. Instead, they worried about people on the no fly lists. Can they not see that if there were no automatic, military-style weapons allowed, the carnage would be slowed down? Why not pass a simple measure? No semiautomatic and automatic military-style weapons. No oversized magazines. Period. It would be a start. It would also respond to what most people agree with. We do not want to take rifles out of hunters' hands. We want to take semiautomatic and automatic weapons out of killers' hands.
