Balloon artist teaches kids at Fremont library
Balloons were inflating, popping, twisting and transforming into different animals Monday, June 13, in Mundelein.
Balloon artist Holy Nagel of Lake Villa shared her talents with kids in grades 3-6 at Fremont Public Library.
"I'm hoping they just had fun. I'm connecting people one balloon at a time," Nagel said.
The 45-minute program drew nine kids ages 8-11 as they made dogs, mice, fish and hats out of balloons.
This was the first of three balloon workshops offered by Fremont Public Library.
"I'm hoping we can build on the skills we learned today," Nagel said.
The library also held a series of workshops for kids in kindergarten through second grade.
