Award for student at CLC paper

College of Lake County has announced a statewide award has been bestowed on a member of the school newspaper's staff. Lindenhurst resident Cydney Salvador, who served as editor-in-chief of The Chronicle, was named the Illinois Community Community College Association's Editorial Writer of the Year for the 2015-16 academic season. Salvador is a Grayslake North High School graduate.
