Arlington Heights 8th-grader who impersonated candidates on Jimmy Fallon tonight

Jack Aiello, the Arlington Heights eighth-grader whose impersonations of presidential candidates Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders at Thomas Middle School's graduation ceremony made him a viral video star, will soon appear on a much larger stage.

Aiello will appear Wednesday on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," both in a sketch and an interview segment, according to NBC. The show, beginning at 10:35 p.m., also features celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, "Neon Demon" actress Elle Fanning and hip-hop stars Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

The video of Aiello's commencement performance has 2.2 million views and counting on YouTube. The boy gave the last speech of the ceremony, and Principal Brian Kaye said the laughter in the room was overwhelming.

"You could actually feel the excitement as he was moving from one candidate to the next," Kaye told the Daily Herald last week. "His timing was perfect. He got a standing ovation. It was so fun."
