District 211 approves 3-year contract for maintenance workers

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board members have unanimously approved a three-year contract with the district's Operations/Maintenance Group.

The contract gives union members' no pay hike for the 2016-17 school year, 0.5 percent wage increase for 2017-18, and 1 percent plus half the rate of inflation for 2018-19.

The new contract takes effect July 1.
