Grain higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was 13 cents a bale lower at $5.0640 a bushel; July corn was 5.25 cents lower at $4.26 bushel; July oats was 3.50 cents lower at $2.02 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 5.50 cents to $11.72 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle was .13 cent lower at $1.2290 a pound; August feeder cattle was .28 cent lower at $1.4710 pound; June lean hogs gained .43 cent to $.8248 a pound.
