Advanced Clinical names two to leadership positions
Deerfield-based Advanced Clinical has appointed Cheryle Evans to senior vice president, clinical and medical operations and hired Sheri Madrid as executive director, clinical operations.
Evans is an experienced forerunner in clinical operations, clinical research and drug development industry across a broad range of therapeutic areas. Her ability to provide strategic leadership and support to clients, as well as answer complex business challenges using her global experience has been instrumental to the rapid growth of Advanced Clinical. Evans' scope of responsibilities will include leading the Advanced Clinical CRO and its operations.
Madrid has strong management skills in clinical operations with a successful track record developing drugs and devices across all study phases. Her therapeutic background is in epilepsy, infectious disease, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiovascular, neurovascular, hypertension, and diabetes. Her experience includes supporting clients of varying sizes to meet deliverables, advancing clinical programs to approval, growing project teams and developing strategic services to sponsors of all sizes. In her role, Madrid will oversee project management and clinical monitoring.
Madrid is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and holds a bachelor of arts in social ecology and a bachelor of science in biology. She resides in southern California and is fluent in Spanish.
