Fitzpatrick wins Nordea Masters for 2nd European Tour title

STOCKHOLM (AP) - Matthew Fitzpatrick eased his way to a three-shot victory on Sunday at the Nordea Masters for his second European Tour title.

The Englishman shot a 1-under 71 in the final round at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, ahead of second-placed Lasse Jensen (68), who secured his spot at the British Open.

The 21-year-old Fitzpatrick, who finished on 16-under 272, led by five shots overnight.

He is the youngest winner of the tournament.

Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium, who eagled the ninth, was third on 12 under.

"Today was the round where I obviously was under the most pressure," Fitzpatrick said. "I was so zoned into my own game I didn't really know what was going on around me half the time."

Defending champion Alex Noren, who was aiming for his third title at Bro Hoff, had a disappointing day. Tied for second overnight, the Swede shot a 4-over 78 to finish tied for 12th.
