Arlington Heights run aims to attract high school alumni

Reunion Runs is holding a 5K race at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 19, in downtown Arlington Heights to bring together alumni from local high schools. The race starts at the intersection of Highland and Campbell streets. The race cost is $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the event, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. Sponsors include Runners High 'n Tri and Cortland's Garage. Some school districts are promoting the race as a fundraiser with $5 from each runner they sign up going back to the district. More information is at www.reunionruns.com.
