Mundelein and Grayslake hold craft beer festivals

There was plenty to drink, eat and enjoy at two craft beer festivals Saturday.

In Mundelein, 40 of Chicago area's craft breweries brought their products to the fest held at the Mundelein Village Hall. For $40, festivalgoers received a commemorative sampling glass and four hours of product sampling. Local restaurants also had food to purchase and musical entertainment was provided by Samadhi Vibe and Bellweather Blues.

Just to the north, Grayslake held its Craft Beer Festival, which included 70 brews from across the country. That fest included live music and food for purchase, which came with suggested beer pairings.
