Is Rt. 53 study just a ploy?

We urge the tollway board to desist: No Environmental Impact Study!

To keep insisting on the EIS despite that the 53 project does not have and never had the majority support is a slap on the face to those directly impacted.

Tollway board, don't you ever forget the commuters that keep filling up the Illinois piggy banks at the toll booths. Treat their contribution with respect, use that money judiciously on projects that are realistically feasible.

Focus on an east-west road alternative to address the traffic. Desist on the gasoline tax hike and keep tolls away from our roadways.

We fear the EIS is going to be used as a bargaining chip at the tollway board table. Soon we'll know if this was another political ploy.
