Man arrested after displaying gun in social media video

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (AP) - A suburban Chicago man is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail for allegedly posting a video on social media of himself with a gun and mocking Lake County sheriff's deputies who issued him a traffic ticket.

Sheriff's department spokesman Detective Christopher Covelli says 27-year-old Angelo Morris recorded his being ticketed Wednesday in Waukegan for improper use of a signal.

Covelli says Morris later videoed himself with a gun and mocking the deputies. The video was brought to the attention of authorities by "a concerned citizen."

Covelli says Morris was pulled over Thursday and found to be driving under the influence of drugs. No gun was found.

Morris is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and driving under the influence of drugs. It wasn't immediately known if he has legal representation.
