Kirk Players to hold free workshops

Kirk Players will hold a free Summer Theatre Workshop for children and adults.

Both workshops run Mondays (except July 4), June 6 through July 25, in the Mundelein High School Auditorium, 1350 Hawley St., Mundelein.

Registration for children ages 5-13 will open at 5:30 p.m., with ongoing workshops taking place from 6-7 p.m. Kirk Player actors will guide children through theater games, scene-building, character development and other formative activities, including improvisation. Children will be entered into age-appropriate segments with Kirk Player actors and assistants.

The adult workshops are for ages 14 and older. Registration begins at 7:30 p.m.; workshops run 7:30-10 p.m. Kirk Player actors and directors will work with adults on dramatic and comic one-acts and other short segments.
