Cuisine Club Offers Older Adults the Opportunity to Connect While Experiencing Local Restaurants
Barrington Area Council on Aging will host its monthly cuisine club gathering at Barrington's The Lucky Monk, 105 Hollywood Blvd., Tuesday, June 21, beginning at 12 noon.
"Healthy aging includes connecting with others," said Linda Avellon, BACOA's program coordinator. "At BACOA, there are a host of opportunities that encourage older adults to engage, but the cuisine club is particularly popular because you can enjoy a local dining experience."
Participants meet at the restaurant on the day of the event and will be able to choose from three specialty lunch menus. Cost is $23.
Reservations can be made by calling Avellon at (847) 881-0477. Deadline is June 17.
