Grain higher, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was 4 cents a bale higher at $4.76 a bushel; July corn was 4 cents higher at $4.1460 bushel; July oats was 2.40 cents hugher at $1.9040 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 2.96 cents to $11.1920 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle was 1.42 cents higher at $1.2193 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.48 cents higher at $1.4713 a pound; June lean hogs gained .50 cent to $.8130 a pound.
