Prospect Heights man pleads guilty to child porn charges

A 51-year-old Prospect Heights man pleaded guilty to child pornography charges Wednesday.
In exchange for his guilty plea, Michael Dalke was sentenced to four months in the Cook County jail and 30 months of probation, according to court records. He was also ordered to pay $2,709 in fines.
Police began investigating Dalke, who had no criminal background, after a representative from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted them that a pornographic image of a child had been posted to a social media account linked to Dalke, Cook County prosecutors said.
Police recovered 144 images of children engaged in sexual contact from a laptop that Dalke had access to, prosecutors said.
