Condell to host Iftar meal
Advocate Condell Medical Center will host a free Iftar meal Friday, June 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at 801 S. Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville. Iftar meal is celebrated during the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is a time when many Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. The fast is broken at sunset with family and friends, featuring prayers and a meal. This event is made available by Condell's Mission and Spiritual Care Department and is located behind the hospital by the Water Tower. All community members are invited to take part in the celebration and learn more about the Muslim customs of Ramadan. RSVP to Maria Martinez at (847) 990-5879 and indicate how many will attend.
