Property tax seminar June 1 for Elk Grove Township residents

State Sen. Laura Murphy and Elk Grove Township Assessor Connie Carosielli will hold a property tax seminar for residents of Elk Grove Township on June 1.

Representatives from the Cook County assessor's office will be available to help taxpayers file appeals on their property tax bills. Attendees should bring their bills, paperwork from any appraisal in the last 18 months, and closing statements if houses were purchased in the last year.

The seminar is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the township headquarters building, 2400 S. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
