Singers invited to Palatine Hometown Star competition

The Palatine Jaycees are seeking contestants for Hometown Star, a singing competition that will culminate at Hometown Fest on July 4.

Judges will choose five finalists at the auditions on June 18. Auditions will be closed to the public.

"Contestants can perform a song of their choice," said Traci Hinshaw. "We want to give the opportunity for local singers to showcase their talent and maybe launch a career in the music industry."
