Buddy Benches installed by Girl Scout Troop 830

Girl Scout Troop 830 recently installed two Buddy Benches at Davis Primary School in St. Charles.

The Girl Scouts worked extra hard on their cookie sales this year.

They won third place in a cookie video contest and 23rd place in a national booth decorating contest to help pay for the benches.

The school loved the idea so much that they paid for the benches and let the girls design and decorate them.

The benches will from this point forward be maintained by each upcoming second grade troop as they leave the primary school and go to the intermediate school for third grade on.

The girls are very excited to leave this legacy at a school they have loved.
