Fairfield/Monaville road study in Lake Villa

A public information meeting to discuss the possible improvements at Fairfield and Monaville roads is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at the Lake Villa Township Office, 37908 N. Fairfield Road, Lake Villa. The Lake County Division of Transportation is conducting a preliminary engineering study to determine potential improvements to reduce congestion and improve safety at the intersection. The meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format, and guests may attend anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. Representatives from LCDOT and the county's consultant will be available to discuss the project and answer any questions.
