Meeting on Route 83 study next week

A public meeting is set for 4 to 7 p. m. Tuesday, May 24, at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center regarding a study of potential improvements to 11 miles of Route 83/Route 137 in Lake Villa, Round Lake Beach, Grayslake and Libertyville. The meeting is held to present the purpose and need for the work, alternatives and get public input. Exhibits will be on display and an audiovisual presentation will be shown continuously. Project team members will be present to discuss the project and answer questions. Comments received by June 7, will become part of the official public meeting record. The cultural and civic center is off Hook Drive, west of Route 83.
