Buffalo Grove Flag Day celebration June 14

The Buffalo Grove Park District will hold its annual Flag Day celebration at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Veterans Park, 1300 N. Weiland Road in Buffalo Grove.

The guest speaker will be U.S. Army Lt. Col. Priscilla Van Zanten, and the Buffalo Grove Fire Department's Honor Guard will be presenting the colors. Other speeches and changing the flags will be part of the program.

There will be free hot dogs beginning at 4:45 p.m. There is no rain date for the event.
