UALR women's basketball team to play in Preseason WNIT
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas-Little Rock women's basketball team has been chosen to play in the 2016 Preseason WNIT.
The Trojans are one of 16 teams announced Wednesday for the preseason tournament that includes at least three games for each team.
The schedule and dates have not yet been announced.
This is the second time UALR has been selected for the Preseason WNIT after the team played in the 2009 event. The Trojans have played in the postseason WNIT four times, including the past season.
Other teams in the field are Abilene Christian, Central Michigan, Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Elon, Fordham, Furman, Green Bay, Missouri, Nebraska, North Texas, Notre Dame, Omaha, UT Rio Grande Valley and Washington.
