Misfits reunite for Riot Fest

If you've been leaning toward going to Riot Fest, maybe this'll sweeten the pot for you: The original Misfits members Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only will be joining longtime Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein on stage for the first time in 30 years.

The horror punk outfit spent six years defying genres and reshaping the face of modern rock before Danzig took his unmistakable vocal style in other directions in 1983.

Back together, the Misfits will headline the three-day music festival, Sept. 16-18, at Douglas Park in Chicago.
