A look at industries that are using dynamic pricing

NEW YORK (AP) - More businesses are pricing like airlines, thanks to software that can crunch data and tell them when to raise or drop prices based on demand.

The pricing strategy, known as dynamic pricing, can take place at any venue that has a certain amount of seats to fill or has capacity constraints.

Some examples:

- Broadway shows in New York

- Zoos

- Sports teams

- Bars and restaurants

- Theme parks

- Concerts, comedy shows and other performances
