Chicago Wolves sign Minnesota State forward Gervais

After playing in the final 10 games of the AHL regular season, forward Bryce Gervais has signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Wolves, team officials announced Monday.

In his tryout with the Wolves, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Gervais ("zhur-VAY") had 4 goals, 2 assists and +3 plus/minus rating. The 24-year-old from Battleford, Saskatchewan, played four seasons at Minnesota State University, scoring 67 goals and 34 assists while playing in 163 consecutive games.
