Starbucks too-much-ice suit wasn't news

Shame on the Daily Herald for placing the article about the frivolous lawsuit filed against Starbucks for too much ice and not enough liquid on the front page of the May 3 newspaper while relegating news of Puerto Rico's default to Page 8.

That lawsuit is not news; it is another attempt by a predatory lawyer to extort money from a corporation over a non-issue. Ms. Pincus could have just asked for less ice.

By placing the article on the front page, you are encouraging this abhorrent behavior that attempts to provide a huge payoff for a few but increases the costs of everyone else who uses that product or any related product or service.
