I-390 update meeting set for Thursday

An informational meeting about ongoing construction work on Route 390/Elgin-O'Hare Expressway is scheduled for Thursday in Elk Grove Village.

Illinois Tollway staff will discuss the project and answer questions from 4 to 7 p.m. in room E of Elk Grove's village hall, 901 Wellington Ave.

Construction continues on the eastern segment of the new tollway from Interstate 290 to Route 83, including completion of frontage roads and construction of new interchanges at Wood Dale Road and Route 83. Works also continues on the Interstate 290 interchange, officials said.
