Softball: Grayslake North powers past Highland Park

Freshman Grace Brown hit her seventh home run of the spring, and Jessica Vaughn and Katie Moats both drove in a pair of runs to help Grayslake North's softball team past Highland Park 10-5 on Friday in a nonconference matchup.

Jenna Pozezinski earned a victory. She allowed 7 hits and struck out 6 while giving up 1 earned run.

Brown, Pozezinski, Moats and Rebecca Sosa each finished with at least 2 hits, and Pozezinski just missed a homer as her line drive hit the top of the outfield fence before bouncing back into play.
