Top administrators keep posts in Gurnee

The village of Gurnee's department heads have been approved for another year on the job.

By a 6-0 vote, the village board this week ratified the appointments of the key administrators by Mayor Kristina Kovarik. Among those returning are Police Chief Kevin Woodside, Fire Chief Fred Friedl, Village Administrator Patrick Muetz, Village Attorney Bryan Winter and Public Works Director Thomas Rigwood.
