Wauconda deputy fire chief set to retire after 34 years

Wauconda Fire District Deputy Chief Paul Gross is set to retire next week after 34 years of service, officials announced.

A reception and traditional departmental walk out ceremony are set for 4 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Fire Station No. 1, 109 W. Liberty St., Wauconda.
